Delete your Followbooth account

You can delete your account at any time. This page explains what happens and lets you ask for the deletion if you cannot sign in.

In the app or on the web

Sign in, open Settings and choose "Delete my account". Type DELETE to confirm. The iPhone app has the same button.

If you are the only administrator

Your whole organization is deleted: its events, leads, files and team logins. We wait 7 days first and email you a link to cancel. After 7 days the deletion is final. A paid subscription is ended before the data is removed.

If you are a member or one of several administrators

Only your own login is deleted, at once. The leads you captured stay with your organization, which is the one that owns them; they no longer show your name.

What is deleted

• The organization, its events, leads, notes, voice recordings, photos and files (only if you are the only administrator).
• Your login, sign-in methods, saved views and the WhatsApp account you linked for yourself.
• The address we send letters to.

What we keep, and why

• Invoices and payment records, as accounting and tax law require.
• A short log that an account was deleted, with dates and ids, but no names or addresses.
• Copies in backups, which disappear when the backups rotate.

Ask for the deletion

Cannot sign in? Enter the email address of your account. If an account exists, we send a link there. The link works for 24 hours and proves the address is yours.
